AML & KYC Policy

Last updated: 3 July 2026

TopStep Partners is committed to the highest standards of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) compliance. This policy outlines our Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols, ongoing monitoring procedures, and regulatory obligations.

1. Identity Verification and KYC Protocols (Currently Disabled)

Formal identity verification (KYC) is not currently active on this platform — see the notice above. When enabled, prospective affiliates will be required to complete identity verification, using a regulated KYC provider, before any commission is disbursed.

In the interim, payout eligibility is determined solely by: an active, approved affiliate account; a verified destination wallet address on file; a minimum of 20 qualifying first-time-deposit conversions in a rolling 30-day window; and the applicable per-currency minimum balance. All payout requests are re-validated against the partner's current account standing at the precise moment of approval.

2. Continuous Monitoring and Fraud Prevention

Our risk management framework incorporates continuous, automated monitoring of all account activities. Conversions and generated traffic are subjected to rigorous fraud-scoring algorithms before any commissions are locked or accrued to the partner balance.

Any irregular or anomalous activities including, but not limited to, implausible conversion velocities, mismatched attribution data, or traffic originating from restricted jurisdictions, will result in immediate holding or rejection of funds. TopStep Partners reserves the unequivocal right to mandate re-verification of any account at our sole discretion.

3. Sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) Screening

TopStep Partners strictly adheres to international sanctions regimes. We unconditionally refuse to onboard, maintain relationships with, or execute payments to any individuals or corporate entities residing in sanctioned jurisdictions, or those appearing on recognised international sanctions lists (such as OFAC, UN, EU, or UK sanctions lists).

Automated screening for sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) is layered in alongside full KYC verification (see Section 1) as the network scales payout volume; until then, sanctioned/restricted-jurisdiction traffic is addressed through our territory-restriction and fraud-scoring controls.

4. Payout Modalities and Wallet Verification

All commission disbursements are executed exclusively to the verified partner's own validated cryptocurrency wallet address currently on file. Wallet ownership must be demonstrably linked to the verified individual or corporate entity.

We strictly prohibit third-party payments under any circumstances. Furthermore, payouts are processed in the designated cryptocurrency without concurrent fiat currency conversion services. TopStep Partners assumes no liability for exchange rate fluctuations.

5. Record Keeping and Data Protection

In accordance with applicable AML directives and data protection frameworks including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), all KYC verification records, transactional histories, and payout-affecting events are securely retained for the legally mandated duration.

To ensure data integrity and confidentiality, sensitive compliance documentation is stored on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure, segregated entirely from routine marketing and operational data.

6. Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR)

TopStep Partners maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards illicit financial activities. Any conduct reasonably suspected of constituting money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes will be immediately escalated to our designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).

Where mandated by prevailing laws, we will file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with the relevant financial intelligence units or regulatory authorities without prior disclosure to the subject of the report, as required by anti-tipping-off legislation.
